The Army course is delivered from within the Army Staff in the Ministry of Defence.

The course is run annually by an Army officer at Lieutenant Colonel rank.  The aim of the course is to give students a variety of opportunities to learn about the lives of Army personnel and their families both in the UK and overseas.
